Coby Grant - Bon Aqua TV Commercial Featuring "A Song About Me"

Hey everyone,
Coby Grant on her way back to her home in Australia is gracing the Streaming Cafe stage this month. Her first world tour, named “Coby Grant Is My Friend” World Tour was sparked by the success of her tune "A Song About Me" that was picked up for a commercial for the European Coca Cola product Bon Aqua. For the commercial the song was re-recorded in Swedish and has also been re-recorded in Finnish, Danish and Norwegian but Iceland has kept the English version. It must be a pretty cool thing to hear your song redone in so many languages!

An Amazing Weekend of Music!

The BreakOut West festival hit Kelowna this last weekend and what a huge event it turned out to be! The whole city was buzzing with fans, industry persons and artists.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday were all streamed live and every show over the 11 performing artists were packed. What a great weekend!

People were lined-up and looking through the windows to take part in the festivities!

On behalf of the Streaming cafe a big thanks goes out to everyone who came out to support live music and tuned in online, all the BreakOutWest organizers, and every amazing artists that played our stage!

Breakout West is here!

Tonight is the first night of the Break Out West music Festival and all our engines are on full!  If you are lucky enough to be taking part in all the festivities, you have the opportunity to check out 70 bands in 3 days for only $20 (although you'd probably drop dead after that marathon!).  For those of you who are out town Streaming Cafe is offering a window into the festival, live from our cafe to your computer!

Seven-time CCMA “Roots Artist of the Year” winner Corb Lund will be headlining
the Breakout West Festival for a Saturday evening showcase at Streaming Café.  Rather than the large concert

venues he normally fills, Lund specifically requested to be featured at a more acoustic-based, listening-room type of environment, and we were more than happy to become the chosen

venue!
